Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 24, 2026

Coffee Bean (“Coffee Bean,” “we,” “us”) is a small, personal, non-commercial project. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it. We try to collect only what we need to let you sign in and use the app.

Information we collect

We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking technologies.

How we use your information

We use your information only to operate the app: to authenticate you, keep your account secure, and provide the features you use. We do not use it for marketing.

How your information is stored

Your data is stored in a private PostgreSQL database on a server we control. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes, and traffic to the app is encrypted over HTTPS.

Sharing

We do not sell or rent your information. A small number of providers help us run the service: Google (only if you use Google sign-in) and our hosting and infrastructure provider, which stores data on our behalf. We share information with them only as needed to operate the app.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and the data associated with it at any time by emailing us at the address below, and we will remove it.

Children

Coffee Bean is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent version.
